We haven't had a great summer this year but the spring (April/May) was great and then a heat wave arrived in the late summer. We have found some new local areas to walk Tilly and booked a place at the 17th Pardon which takes place at Marchienne-au-Pont near Charleroi. We are not sure what the Pardon involves apart from the boats being blessed by a priest and there being a parade of the boats.

	Setting off for a walk around the reservoir near Cerfontaine. This is a watery retreat with chalets and houses hidden in the trees for sale and rent. There are also sailing dinghies and canoes for rent on the lake so we fancy doing that sometime.
We took some chocolate cake and a flask of coffee and Tilly was happy with water from the lake and some training biscuits.

Next was the Pardon so we did some jobs on the boat and prepared for our last cruise of the year.
